Accommodation : Harrys Barn is strictly No Smoking

Harrys Barn is a detached cottage in a quiet lane, converted in 2001 from a 200yr old Cumbrian Field house and has some low beams and ceilings. Standing in its own  garden with beech hedge, Harrys Barn  provides luxury accommodation, accredited with 4 stars by Visit Britain. With exposed stone walls and oak floors,  it retains its old country style. The inviting furniture and a wood burning stove complete the comfort of Harrys Barn.

There is an open plan living area on the first floor with a beech kitchen and dining area, comfy sofas and a wood burning stove. The home from home comforts include an LCD TV,DVD and video, fridge with small ice box, electric cooker, microwave as well as everything else that you would expect from such a comfortable holiday cottage.

The main bedroom contains a king size bed and traditional furnishings.

The occasional bunkroom houses a 2ft 6in bunk bed - suitable only for children (aged 5 - 15.)
We only allow children of this age due to safety reasons. We have no provision for toddlers.

The bathroom contains a small bath and overhead shower, plus the usual facilities.
There is also a washer/dryer.

The garden is relatively "dog proof" - depending on your dog!.

All bedding,towels and teatowels are included at no extra cost, as is the fuel for the wood burning stove and electricity.
